Bandcamp is actually a really cool project. It comes from Amiland, and, as it happens: First founded with the best of motives, to provide independent artists with a market and income, a real “fair share”. Then grew into a platform. Then sold. Then sold on, from Epic Games to Songtradr. And now the cobbler himself has the worst shoes, all the trade unionists have been thrown out and the works council has been stamped out. Fuck you Bandcamp!
