Foreword

As someone who - due to age, origin and the binary gender identity I was once assigned (in the '60s) - is on the one hand recognizably a crusty old white dude and on the other hand fully dedicated to social and human progress, yes, as such, I find myself in an increasingly perpetuating inner conflict that, on bad days, shows me the limits of what is possible for me.
As soon as it comes to topics such as "binary identities", "heteronormativity" or simply "women" in general or in particular.
So here are, loosely based on Goethe (another completely overrated old white lecher, if you ask me, which you don't), ... ah, two souls in my breast'. By the way, a small, interesting digression first. It would be completely wrong to genderize this formulation.
